BODI.ME WINS PRESTIGIOUS NAUMD AWARD

We are proud to announce that Bodi.Me has once again been recognised for its pioneering innovations as the team scooped up the prestigious Innovation in Digital Services Award at the Network Association of Uniform Manufacturers and Distributors’ (NAUMD) 2024 annual convention at Daytona Beach, Florida, USA on 7 May 2024.

NAUMD’s Innovation in Digital Services Award 2024 acknowledges the ground-breaking innovation that the Bodi.Me team delivered in the development of Size-Me 3.0, to overcome the inclusivity challenges set by a large UK retail brand client, Marks and Spencer, and their uniform supplier, Incorporatewear, Bodi.Me had to develop a solution that would help to seamlessly incorporate Marks and Spencer’s new gender-neutral collection and support the high street retailer’s somewhat 14,000 members of staff with the transition.

Starting with its existing, award-winning Size-Me platform, Bodi.Me developed Size-Me 3.0 specifically to help to mitigate the uncertainties associated with size selection for gender-neutral uniform collections. Making the tool very easy to use and ensuring staff feel comfortable using it, thanks to the non-invasive measuring techniques used, Size-Me 3.0 has proven to be a great success amongst Mars and Spencer colleagues.

Bodi.Me MD and co-founder, Lara Mazzoni states: “As we move to a more inclusive society, uniforms and workwear design need to take a multitude of needs and fit requirements into consideration. Better fitting uniforms that support the wearer in the range of tasks they need to perform throughout the day, keeping them safe and comfortable can really help to increase product activity and improve morale, so it is incredibly important to ensure that uniforms fit well.” Bodi.Me’s Size-Me 3.0 is particularly useful when it comes to ensuring that staff obtain the right fit the first time, avoiding costly and unsustainable returns and saving the wearer time and hassle.”

Our Size-Me 3.0 solution, impressed the judges with our technology and its potential to positively support the professional clothing industry towards its sustainability and inclusivity goals, which is a wonderful accolade for us.

Lara Mazzoni commented on the award win:” We are delighted to be recognised for our work by the NAUMD and its members. The award is incredibly special to us as it recognises Bodi.Me’s strength as a technology innovator, but also our ability to deliver highly tailored solutions that make a significant difference to our customers’ businesses and the professional clothing industry overall.”
