Bodi.Me Wins Esteemed Digital Award at the UK’s 10th Annual Laundry and Drycleaning Awards Event

We are proud to announce that Bodi.Me has won the prestigious DIGITAL IMPACT AWARD at this year’s Laundry and Drycleaning Awards (LADA). The LADAs is a major industry event for the textile care, hotel and hospitality industries, acknowledging the very best in these sectors.

The judges recognised the potential of Bodi.Me’s innovative Size-Me tool to help companies reduce waste and save money by eliminating returns and reducing unwanted garments.  Size-Me leverages AI and proprietary algorithms to provide precise fit recommendations from a few simple measurements, significantly reducing return rates by up to 80% and optimising inventory. The tool integrates seamlessly with customer systems and has earned numerous accolades across Europe, the UK and US, including the Best Business Leader in Digital Transformation 2023 (Business Awards UK) and Winner of Transformative Technology (PCIAW® Awards 2023) and the Innovation Award in the Digital Service category at the Network Association of Uniform Manufacturers & Distributors Awards, in the U.S.

Bodi.Me was presented with the award at a spectacular gala event in Brighton on 13 November 2024. Collecting the award on behalf of the company was Bodi.Me’s CEO and co-founder, Lara Mazzoni. “This is the first time that Bodi.Me has entered the LADAs and we are deeply honoured to be recognised by the judges for our impact within the laundry and drycleaning industry,” states Lara. “With the European Commission’s latest proposal for a new directive to establish mandatory recycling obligations from companies that produce textiles, uniforms, and footwear, it is more imperative than ever to reduce waste starting at the point of purchase. Bodi.Me’s mission is to provide textile and uniform manufacturers with a cost-effective and cost-saving platform to eliminate such waste.”

Bodi.Me’s commitment to sustainability aligns perfectly with current industry needs. The apparel industry is under immense pressure to reduce its environmental footprint, with a significant portion of unused uniforms ending up in landfills. By ensuring accurate sizing from the outset, Bodi.Me’s technology helps prevent overproduction and minimise waste. To date, Bodi.Me has successfully sized and delivered nearly a million garments to 100,000 wearers.
